Someone needs to clean the B v. B campaign

The current television campaign ads for the 50th District seat in San Diego is becoming increasingly ugly on both sides. I've seen mud slung around before but sludge like this hasn't been seen in quite some time.

The Democratic and Republican parties have used their campaign money to spend all their time talking about why I (and all of us in the 50th district) should NOT vote for the other candidate instead of focusing on why I should vote for their candidate.

When a party starts to campaign it's candidate as the lesser of two evils it's a real bad sign. Apparently these politicians feel they really have nothing to offer. If that's the case, perhaps it's best if Roach recinds his promise to step aside and instead challenges both candidates in November by campaigning on his own strengths intead of the weaknesses of his opponents.

If all we have to vote for when the rest of this term is over is Busby and Bilbray then I have to say this city is in real sad shape. San Diego has had enough problems with corrupt and/or inept politicians. Busby and Bilbray even admit themselves that they aren't offering anything more than the fact that they aren't as bad as their opponent.

I might just vote for myself this June.
