Can't close it out

OK the Padres came back from 4-0 and 7-3 deficits. Xavier Nady hit two homers. Klesko and Nevin had great games too. Woody got shelled and Hoffman got two outs away from a 10-8 Padres win but then gave up a double, single, Homer to Barmes to lose it. ARGH! Again Hoffman can't hold a lead in an early season game. Really stinks.
I did beat Victoria at Jeopardy tonight so that helps.

Stephanie is going to be on dialysis the rest of her life. At this point she's in the hospital and having treatments Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. When she gets MediCal they'll let her come home and they'll put the tubes in her abdomen so she can do the treatments at home each night and can live a fairly normal life. Being a diabetic who's kidneys failed, her diet is gonna be pretty strict but we're hoping she'll be a viable candidate for transplantation. I only worry that her diabetes might keep them from allowing anyone to donate to her. Stinks.

Things have been good since I last wrote. Work is getting busier, marriage has been great, and baseball is finally here. The lack of an NHL season made this winter really long for me. Alright...not much to say. Just wanted to update this thing since I haven't done it in a while.
UNC is up on Illinois 70-67 with about 3:45 left in the game. I picked the Illini to beat the Tar Heels in my original bracket. They came back from being 15 points down at one point and now are close to overtaking them. COOL.
